This Energy company needed to raise brand awareness and initiate conversations around the ease and benefits of households switching Energy providers to a clean option. This program focused on family households in the Northeast (primary availability locations) and needed to geo-target relevant conversations with household decision-makers. The first step to seeing households make the switch to clean energy is sparking the conversation about its benefits.

THE RESEARCH

Our research uncovered key narratives to address through influencers: power reliability with clean energy, company transparency in terms of where clean energy comes from, and concerns about how the ‘switch’ from current provider to clean could be confusing and tedious. Our team curated a strategy in which relatable families would curate content to set expectations with this provider, show audiences ‘behind the scenes’ of where this clean energy comes from, and educate potential consumers on the benefits of clean energy.

THE SOLUTION

This campaign, driven by the message of ‘farm to cable’, successfully sparked conversations around clean energy in the Northeast, while also garnering consumer action to learn more about the Energy provider. Relatable influencers showcasing content centered around taking steps to provide a brighter future for their families made an impact on Instagram and TikTok. Consumers acknowledged and voiced that this switch is a small step they can do to help the planet.
